Maintenance Route | Individual Counseling Sessions

Recommended follow-up to your counseling or training: a Maintenance Route that provides extra support to help anchor your newly-gained habits and insights.

You can tailor this Route to your specific situation by purchasing one or more individual sessions and scheduling each as you need them.

Sessions are either in person at my practice in Eindhoven (NL) or via Zoom call.

Tip: When you book multiple sessions, you get a discount on the price per session:

Title Range Discount
Short-Term Maintenance 2 - 3 5%
Long-Term Maintenance 4 + 10%

What is a Maintenance Route?

If you’ve ever had any kind of counseling or therapy before, did you notice how a few weeks after the final session, the new stuff you learned during therapy slips from your attention and you fall back into old habits? This is a natural process: more familiar = easier = takes less energy. So for a good while, your old habits will be more appealing than the new ones when experiencing stress of some kind.

The Maintenance Route is to help you apply and anchor your new habits when you need them the most. Whenever you find yourself slipping back into old patterns, you can schedule one or two sessions for support and refreshing.

You decide when you need that extra support. Some clients opt to meet at a steady pace of once a month for a while, and others only schedule a call when they want to get a better grip on a new situation.

How many Maintenance sessions do I need?

Typically, I recommend 4 Maintenance sessions spread across 4-6 months. This gives you best value for money and helps to anchor your progress for the best possible long-term results.

If you decide later that you’d like to extend your Maintenance Route, you can add more sessions as you please.

Tip: When you buy multiple sessions at once, you don’t have to schedule all of them right away. If you don’t know yet how often you’d like to meet, you can schedule them one by one at your convenience.

How long does a session take?

Like all counseling sessions, every appointment is at least 60 minutes and at most 70 minutes. That’s not because I can’t plan, but because I know from experience that it can physically hurt when the important mental process you’re going through cut short by an alarm clock. My goal is to create a safe space for you, and that includes a bit more time when you need that.

Tip: When you book a session, please leave some breathing space in your calendar between our session and your next meeting. Your future self will thank you!
